My 1st month of the data school is coming to an end and this seems like a great time to look back at the dashboards I used for my applications and pick them apart. I felt really good about both of them at the time I submitted each and felt like they were the best I've done at that point.
Initial Application:
1. Load times: It takes 3-5 seconds to load after each filter. I learned I can optimize this a bit today by clicking on server on the top -> Run Optimizer. This helped me to remove a lot of the unused fields.

2. Floor Parameter and the sheets it affects: I have a parameter that allows the user to decide which floors they would like to see data from. This was supposed to be a look into just act 1 so I should have capped this at 16. I also could have capped the range of the floors that are shown at 1 time through a combination of calculated fields and parameters.
3. Gridlines!: Really not sure how this one was missed it is right next to one without gridlines but should have been consistent and removed most if not all gridlines.

4. Field Label: Also should have hidden the "Card Name" field label for rows in the image above.
5. Alignment: This was something I didn't notice right away as someone that knows about the game but several people that don't brought it up. The alignment of the image below makes it seem like each of the images corresponds with the text below. The text applies to all 3 and the image is used as a filter.

Final Application:
It was perfection nothing wrong with it :)
The only real changes I would have made is maybe removing the weekday table in the bottom right and maybe change the icon I used to signal interactivity.

I was mainly using this as a placeholder but didn't end up mentioning it during my presentation. Since I only had 5 min I didn't think it was important to spend time talking about but knowing that most trips are Weds - Fri is somewhat interesting.
