This blog is going to talk about the Tableau Data Analyst Certification exam. This blog is going to be talking about the structure and what I did which helped me pass first time.
Structure of Exam?
- 55 Questions
- Time Limit: 120 minutes (includes 3 minutes for reviewing the NDA and 5 minutes for tutorial).
- Exam Check-in: Check-in begins 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
- Question Formats: There are three sections.
Warning ⚠️ once you complete a section you got to go over it as soon as you press continue to the next section you cannot go back. So double check your answers.
1. Knowledge-based questions
2. Practial hands on lab questions
3. Knowledge-based questions.
Knowledge-based: Multiple choice, Multiple selection, and Active screen (includes Build list, Drag and drop, and Hot area)
For the practical questions it takes you to a virtual screen for tableau. You have to save the workbook for the questions to count. You can do this at the end but I recommend doing it for each question just to be safe.
Resources
For this exam I recommend doing some practice questions before because the questions can be worded quite weirdly. Always read over your answers.
