I find Alteryx challenges to be quite confusing, mostly because the questions can be hard to comprehend. Through trail and error (as well as some advice from Peter Gamble), I found it's best to note down the steps to get to the output.
Alteryx Challenge 189 states "Determine which artist(s) created the most top 100 hits in each decade".
The first issue 1. The data set is not refined to decades but lists each specific year. 2. The artists need to be ranked by the amount of hits in the top 100. 3. Once found, we need to select the top artist(s) for each decade. Then we solve these problems using the necessary tools seen below.
