Power Bi - Make it as easy as Tableau

During day 4 of Dashboard Week, we used Power Bi to create a Viz on the Eurovision Song Contest.

Transitioning from Power Bi can be quite complicated for Tableau experts. Everything seems to look different and the functionality quite basic. However, it's not that bad.

The Power Bi view is compartmentalised by its visual actions. There is a section for building a visual and one for formatting it. This quickly becomes quite natural to use and users tend to navigate through Power Bi quite swiftly.

Power Bi also comes with some funky charts which require additional steps to create using Tableau. This includes the gauge chart, KPIs, Ribbon chart (Sanky) as well as others.

Overall, like any other Microsift platform, Power Bi is quite easy to use. Tableau users may require some additional support for the more advanced analysis.
