Output as Google Sheet in Alteryx

In order to output data as a google sheet,  you will need the Google Drive tool, which can be downloaded in this link: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Community-Gallery/Google-Drive-Tools/ta-p/898151.

The configuration of the tool can be tricky so I would like to briefly explain it. First, you need to copy the file path to the folder where you want to save your google sheet to. In this case I am saving mine to "010. Data School->DS38->Karina->6. Dashboard Week -> Day 1".

Then you can paste your file path to the "File Path" field. The "Add File" option will then be available. This is what you want to save your file as, meaning the name of the file. So click "Add File" and give it a name. And on the "Configure File" pane, choose GSHEET as the file format. Then you are all set!

I would also like to mention there is a limitation with using Google sheet in Tableau. In the documentation it said the maximum acceptable file size of Google sheet is 10MG. However, mine gave up at 1KB, which was not even close to the limit. Therefore, be aware of the size limit when using Google sheet in Tableau.
