In this blog I am going to be covering all the amazing things you can achieve using the Select tool in Alteryx.

Deselect Columns - This is achieved simply by unticking the column you do not want.

Renaming Columns - On the select tool panel there is a section called rename, simply input the name you want along side the name you want to change.

Reorder Column - Simply select the column you want to move and use the arrows next to the option tab to move the column up and down.

Changing Data Type - Beside the column tittle you want to change, there is a drop down with the current data type you are using. Simply, click on the drop and select the data type you want.
