Vivien Lee

Vivien graduated with a degree in Music and Business Management from the University of Southampton, where she discovered a passion for data analytics and consultancy. Before joining The Data School, she worked as a peripatetic instrumental teacher teaching piano, violin, and music theory, which helped develop her problem-solving skills and her ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Since joining The Data School, Vivien has thrived in the collaborative and hands-on environment, where she has tackled real-world data challenges across the transport and employment industries. Her projects have included building a range of dashboards from explanatory overviews, to exploratory deep dives, and helping to deliver tangible business solutions such as enabling easy decision-making for managers. She has also gained experience in enablement when teaching a Tableau session to the public, in addition to recently having the opportunity to manage a client project.

Vivien holds an Alteryx Designer Core certification and continually seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge in data analysis and building visualisations.

Outside of work, Vivien enjoys creative hobbies and practising her musical instruments in her free time. She also loves baking and experimenting with new recipes, bringing the same curiosity and attention to detail to her personal projects as she does to her professional work.
