Tomo is a Data Analytics Consultant at The Information Lab. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and History from Hunter College, where he developed a strong interest in working with data through coursework in Machine Learning and Data Mining. His academic training provided a solid foundation in programming languages and tools, including Python, C++, and scikit-learn.
His personal interest in working with text as data emerged from his experience as a History Research Intern at Stanford University, where engagement with digitized archival materials sparked his curiosity about the potential for analyzing historical sources at scale.
