Tommaso Ferri

Tommaso graduated at The Pisa University in “Telecommunication Engineering”, focusing on transmission systems and signal processing.

Taking advantage of his experience as a singer and sound designer, since the idea of designing telecommunications systems no longer appealed to him, he decided to move to London to work either as a Producer, Sound Designer or Content Producer.

After 2 years of work as a professional Social Media and Community Manager in the Esports field, he decided to swap his career to data.

Tommaso stumbled across the Information Lab’s Data School program, and, attracted by the multiple potentials of data analysis and data visualisation, he decided to undertake the application project.

He thinks that data analysis and visualisation is an amazing mix of creativity and analytical skills, especially in the data design world.

Outside of work he loves to cook and singing rock, blues and jazz music. He produces electronic ambient music (with different aliases) and sometimes creates music for indie video games, apps and short movies.
