Thomas recently graduated from Newcastle University in Computer Science, with final year modules focused on machine learning, data visualisation, and human-computer interaction, followed by a final dissertation centred around sentiment analysis and deep learning.
From the foundation build during his university studies, Thomas discovered that it was his newly found passion for data science and analytics that he wanted to transform into a career, which is where The Data School came in.
Thomas saw The Data School as a perfect opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge needed to bring this passion to real-world Businesses and organisations, whilst doing it alongside other likeminded individuals, and learning from world-leading experts.
Since joining The Data School, Thomas has worked on many projects for their clients, using technologies such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Power Bi, as well as leveraging his prior knowledge in SQL and Python.
