Stephen Moyse

Stephen graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Business Economics and Finance, and after a brief experience in Tableau it ignited his interest for data visualisation.

At the Information Lab, Stephen has consulted for a variety of clients, with projects including:

  • Calculating and quantifying carbon emission savings within a Tableau dashboard, with custom text based insights and advanced functionality to tailor the end-user experience

  • Introducing and improving Alteryx macros to increase efficiency and automate processes within the travel industry, from a variety of data sources

  • Producing reports in PowerBI for a major drinks brand in order to determine drinkers’ preferences and competition within the space, identifying market areas of improvement

  • Elevating existing Tableau dashboards, with a focus on general layout & white space, reducing loading times, clear information display and value-add functionality

He has the following certifications and additional knowledge:

  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst

  • PowerBI Data Analyst (PL-300)

  • Alteryx Designer Core

  • Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, Salesforce and Python

  • Project management software including DevOps, and versioning control such as Git

Outside of work Stephen enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports, as well as watching tv & film, and reading up on astronomy related topics.
