With an MSc in Sport Performance Analysis and experience as the Lead Performance Analyst for Netball Super League team London Pulse, Rory combines a deep passion for sport with a strong analytical mindset.
Rory's experience includes developing interactive dashboards and data pipelines using Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx and SQL, drawing on his background in elite sport to communicate complex insights clearly and effectively. At London Pulse, he worked closely with coaches and players to turn performance data into strategic decisions, which sparked his enthusiasm for data visualisation.
During his time in The Data School so far, Rory has delivered projects with professional football clubs and other business organisations, specialising in Tableau Dashboard Development, Data Cleaning, Dashboard Optimisation and Reporting. His work has been a mix of picking up from previous work, as well as designing and delivering new analytical dashboards from concept to solution.
Outside of consulting, Rory remains heavily involved in sport, and continues to apply his analytical curiosity to performance both on and off the pitch.
