Nermine Obeng

Nermine's journey into data began during her Psychology degree at the University of Bristol, where she developed skills in SPSS, MATLAB, and A/B testing while conducting research projects. This sparked her interest in analysing and interpreting data, leading her to a role in operations at a market research firm. There, she gained valuable experience in managing workflows and reconciling data, setting a strong foundation for her transition into data consulting.

During her time at The Data School, Nermine gained extensive experience delivering tailored data solutions across diverse industries, including finance, higher education and non-profits. Her work often focused on enhancing stakeholder engagement through clear and insightful data visualisations. This includes designing and implementing KPI dashboards to support healthcare initiatives, optimising candidate tracking for Partner training programmes, and enabling demographic analysis through data enrichment. She has also worked on migrating key reporting systems using Alteryx, SQL and Power BI, modernising the client's data pipeline.

In addition to her technical contributions, Nermine developed stong skills in training and enablement, delivering workshops and one-on-one sessions in Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI. Her ability to simplify complex concepts made these sessions effective, enabling clients to adopt new tools confidently.

Nermine’s certifications in Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL reflect her strong technical expertise and commitment to professional development. She effectively leverages her technical skills to transform complex business needs into actionable insights.
