Nayeli Jaimé

Nayeli Jaimé is a data analyst who has made her way to the Information Lab. While having proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, Amazon Web Services, and Excel, she hopes to further her skills through TIL and gain the tools necessary to become the ultimate data analyst! Prior to this, she obtained her bachelor’s in mathematics and stayed primarily in the education world where she was an educator, teacher’s assistant, and a mathematics standardized exam supervisor. And while she loves math education, she decided that she wanted to switch gears and enter a more robust and math-centered career path. She has fallen in love with creating data-driven stories and finding those exciting bits of knowledge hidden in data. She has had two placements at Avis Budget Group where she has had the opportunity to apply and demonstrate her skills.

While her current focus is on strengthening her skills, she often spends her free time going out to see live salsa bands and dancing. She also enjoys the outdoors and is often upstate either hiking or camping and if the weather permits, snowboarding. When at home she can be found playing Clash of Clans or with her two cats.
