Luke Bennett

Luke graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a BA in Urban Studies and concentration in Architecture. He developed a passion for data through coursework such as GIS mapping and statistics, as well as an interest in sports analytics that started as a desire to gain an edge in fantasy sports and continued with crafting articles for Columbia University’s Society for Baseball Research. 

Since joining The Information Lab, Luke has worked with a variety of industries, including nonprofit, healthcare, finance, and sustainability, and finds purpose in automating processes and delivering new insights to clients. Luke is also passionate about sharing his Tableau and Alteryx knowledge, having led webinars, 1-1 tutoring, and training sessions to enable organizations.

Outside of work, Luke enjoys playing the guitar, casual basketball and tennis matches, and dominating his friends in board games. He is always looking to broaden his knowledge, especially in emerging technologies such as AI, and gave a talk on custom GPTs at New York Tech Week.
