Tableau | Alteryx | Power BI | SQL 

Kate is a data analytics consultant, whose previous experience involved working as an insights analyst in the marketing department of a health coaching company. During her time in this role, she quickly transitioned into a data lead, developing and presenting crucial insights through data-driven reporting. This not only proved pivotal to the company’s marketing strategy and decision making, but also transformed the way they use their data. 

Since then, her work at The Information Lab has sharpened her analytical skills, and exposed her to a wide range of projects that enhanced her passion for data analysis. Specifically, Kate has gained experience working with clients in the sporting industry - visualising team and player level analysis within the football industry. By working with data that aligns with Kate’s personal interests, her skill set has taken to new heights, and she confidently brings an analytical mindset to problem solving. Kate is able to achieve this through developing proficiency in a variety of softwares such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL and Alteryx, giving her the technical capability to adapt to a variety of client needs 

Alongside professional experience, Kate holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Exeter, where her passion for using data to understand patterns in human behaviour originated. 

In her spare time, Kate is an avid netball player, runner, and thoroughly enjoys trying out new recipes, particularly experimenting with Asian cuisines.
