Joe graduated from The University of Warwick with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering but was not enthused at the thought of designing heating systems, or gear trains. He was looking to apply the problem solving and analytical skills that he had developed throughout his course in a variety of fields. When he came across the data school he was intrigued by the application process, and after downloading tableau he was hooked. He thought it was the perfect combination of analysis and creativity, and has since dedicated his time to mastering the program. Outside of work Joe enjoys many sports and runs a successful social media page.

Taming Transpose & Crosstab: Alteryx Challenge 49
The aim of this challenge was to switch the format so that the product
information was shown in rows as opposed to columns.
The input had the Market, Product and Type categories in the first 3 rows, so
the first step was to separate the first 3 rows from the data using the sample
tool

Critiquing and reworking Andy's old Viz
Today we were tasked with evaluating one of Andy’s first tableau public posts,
so here goes. I was given this dashboard about the impact of drug testing on
baseball. There are a few elements that I like and think work well, there are
also lots that I don’t
