James Driver

James graduated with a Master’s Degree in Modern World History from King’s College London, enjoying the exploratory analysis aspect of the subject. After finishing his degree he went on to work for a music company, collaborating closely with the logistics and Marketing department. It was in this company that James was keen to study data analysis and incorporate it into his work through Power Bi, leading to projects in competitor analysis and logistical tracking.

Whilst working at the Information Labs, James has been on placements for both finance and marketing teams at Close Brothers and UBS as the lead Tableau and Alteryx developer. The work has covered setting up data automation / dashboarding, SQL, and training of staff to help develop a data culture across all levels of the company.

In his spare time James enjoys playing the guitar, something he has been doing for over 10 years now, as well as exploring London.
