Gloria de Waal-Montgomery
Having spent a few years investigating and reporting international human rights and humanitarian law violations in the Middle East and Asia, Gloria realised the importance of data visualisation in creating compelling stories, educating audiences and spotting and tracking patterns of violations to promote justice and accountability. Lacking the tools in how to do this, and in search of a new challenge, Gloria joined the Information Lab in the hope of developing a better understanding of the data world she inhabits.
Gloria’s heart is never far from sunnier climates and a pair of trainers. In her spare time, you’ll find her bouldering, falling of her skateboard and working to promote and defend human rights in Tibet.
