Georgia Webb

Before joining the Data School, Georgia worked as a recovery worker, supporting individuals battling drug and alcohol addiction to achieve and maintain sobriety.

Georgia earned a first-class MSc in Health Psychology from King’s College London and a first-class BSc in Psychology from Durham University. During her studies, she excelled in her statistics modules, where she discovered her passion for data preparation, analysis, and visualization.

She is certified in Alteryx and has developed her skills in Tableau, Power BI, and SQL at the Data School.

Georgia has worked with a variety of stakeholders across numerous industries, creating workflows and visualizations that enable clients to make data-driven decisions. Some of her key projects include:

  • Managing a project for a rail company, using spatial analysis to identify where and when there is unmet demand for rail travel, alerting the client to potentially untapped markets.

  • Designing and visualizing a people log dashboard that enabled managers to compare their teams' performance to others within the same business division, implement extra support for underperforming staff, and celebrate high achievers.

  • Analyzing player performance metrics for a Premier League football team to understand league playing styles and support the team in making more informed decisions for player loans during upcoming transfer windows.

Outside of work, Georgia plays netball and is a keen dancer, having competed in Ballroom and Latin dance competitions throughout university. She also enjoys reading and traveling.
