Combining a strong background in Biomedical Science with a specialized focus on data analytics, Fotiana brings a unique analytical perspective to the Data School. Her transition into data began during her undergraduate thesis, where she utilized R for statistical analysis and visualization to identify novel SARS-CoV-2 receptors.
While working in the Biotech industry, Fotiana taught herself SQL and Tableau as side projects, eventually leading her to join The Data School to formalize her expertise. She is currently mastering the end-to-end data lifecycle using Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau.
Beyond the data stack, Fotiana is a bilingual communicator in Mandarin and Greek, and an avid golfer dedicated to chasing a scratch handicap.
