Ellie graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Pharmacology. After graduating, she worked in London in the financial services sector for two years. Whilst she enjoyed being able to build and develop relationships with her clients, she missed working with data. Ellie was immediately drawn to the Data School program and the power of Tableau. She is excited about pursuing a career within data analytics and developing her Tableau skills further.

Dashboard Week- Day 3
So today’s challenge involved a little(!) bit of PDF scraping combined with
survey data. The data set was from Harvard DataVerse and we had one table with
all the data and then a separate PDF file containing the questions of the
survey. The data was an electrical household survey in India

Discrete vs Continuous
During our first couple of days as DS-ers we have been covering Tableau
Fundamentals. For my first actual Tableau based blog post I am keeping it super
simple with continuous vs discrete dates. The data I have given as an example
shows sum of sales by quarter for each year

I think the application process for The Data School has given a small
introduction as to what to expect from The Data School and life as a data
consultant. These are my expectations after Day 1:
