Dominic Brady

With a background in the social sciences, Dominic is passionate about leveraging data to better understand the world. At the Data School, he has honed his expertise in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx through a range of impactful projects. These include:

● Leading a team to analyse match data for a top Netball Superleague team.

● Developing a player fitness dashboard for use by a national sports institution.

● Consulting for an England Council to rethink their diversity and inclusion data strategy.

Dominic's interest in data analytics began during his Geography degree at the University of Bristol, where he enjoyed modules in quantitative research and applied statistical methods to explore topics in political economics. This analytical curiosity is evident in his personal projects showcased on Tableau Public. Following graduation, Dominic gained experience in hospitality before establishing a successful freelance career as a musician and teacher, combining his passions for jazz guitar and improvisation. Seeking to blend his creative talents with analytical skills, he transitioned into data analytics.

Since joining The Information Lab and the Data School, Dominic has discovered a love for data storytelling, where he merges creativity with analytical rigor to deliver meaningful insights.
