Dan Wade

During his time at The Data School, Dan has provided consulting expertise using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI to provide data analysis and business intelligence solutions to a variety of clients. These clients span across industries (travel, transport, fashion, beauty, sport and banking) where he has delivered projects in web-analytics, e-commerce, supply chain, resourcing and more.

Dan has extensive experience in data visualization, having built a portfolio of accessible dashboards to improve reporting and optimise decision making. Dan has experience in extracting data from large, complex datasets using SQL, APIs and webscraping, as well as cleaning and preparing intricate datasets using Alteryx, Power Query and Tableau Prep. He also has experience in delivering training sessions to upskill clients in data analysis concepts and tools.

Prior to The Data School, Dan worked at a leading genomics research institute where he was first introduced to Tableau. It was here that he worked across Procurement, Research Governance, Scientific Operations, and Estates teams as part of a two-year graduate scheme. Dan also holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Loughborough University.

Dan was drawn to The Data School to further develop his knowledge of data analytics, gain exposure to a variety of industries, and collaborate with some of the world's best data analytics professionals.
