Charalambos Pavlou

Charalambos (Charlie) joined the data school after graduating from the University of Kent with a degree in Financial Economics with Econometrics.

Charlie has worked on a variety of projects from:

· Replicating legacy models in Excel with Alteryx

· Scenario modelling

· Spatial analysis in Tableau, Alteryx and Snowflake

· Connecting to APIs (Including a Python API)/web scraping for personal projects and for clients then parsing the collected data with Regex

· Advanced data preparation with SQL and creating schemas/ER diagrams in Snowflake

At National Trust he manipulated data from different databases such as Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, Snowflake with Alteryx using SQL. He created an ETL pipeline and dashboards for gardens reporting, starting a new approach to tackling incomplete data. He conducted advanced training sessions in API’s and Macros with Alteryx training 70 people.

At Pacemaker Global he automated workflows, created dynamic dashboards and improved load times by up to 5 times, these dashboards are available to the public with one gaining traction with over 200 thousand views on twitter.

His life outside of data involves watching TV shows, playing games, cooking, playing table tennis, tennis and watching football.
