Caitlyn brings a scientific approach to data analysis along with strong critical thinking skills from her background in Biochemistry.
Caitlyn’s time at The Data School has provided her with experience with preparing and analysing data in a variety of different tools including using: Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI and SQL.
She has applied her technical knowledge to projects across various industries including sports, marketing, and HR. In these projects, she successfully collaborated with a team to provide actionable data-driven insights to the clients.
Caitlyn earned an Integrated Master's degree in Biochemistry from Cardiff University, where she studied a broad range of topics including genetics, cancer, cell signaling pathways, and concepts of disease. During her master's research project, she engineered proteins for specific functions.
This experience, which involved producing and working with a large amount of lab data, sparked her interest in data analytics. Caitlyn is always looking to further her knowledge in data analytics whilst also staying updated on advancements in the world of Biochemistry.
Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys exploring new coffee shops, rowing and cold water swimming.
