Auguste Navickyte

Auguste graduated from the University of St Andrews with an Economics degree. During the studies she found her interest in using data to draw insights and search for solutions for various social and economical issues. While studying, she volunteered with the third sector organisations locally and internationally, and realised that the best way she could ever support any company is through her interest in numbers and data.

Data analytics and problem solving are a couple of the skills Auguste has continued to develop after graduation whilst working in a charity that prevents homelessness among asylum seekers. She assisted with the organisation’s development and maintenance of new data management systems. After having discovered The Information Lab, Auguste decided to further enhance her skills and knowledge in data.

Auguste is currently in her fourth and last placement working for HG Capital, a leading software and services investor. Her previous placements were with Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation (an independent foundation investing in healthier society), iTechMedia (a global digital marketing services company) and AMEX GBT (a multinational travel management company).

Outside work, Auguste loves travelling, painting and reading books.
