Dashboard Week Day 2: New Orleans Police Department Body Worn Camera Videos

For day 2, the team will need to visualize the data from the New Orleans Police Department about videos taken from body worn cameras.

There are 2,665,743 records in the data set, which includes locations, date, police district, etc. Since it’s one CSV, I’ve gone ahead and downloaded it for them.

Requirements:

  1. If data prep is required, I want them to use Tableau Prep. The data appears very clean though, which will annoy previous cohorts.
  2. They are welcome to work as a team on the data prep.
  3. They are more than welcome to supplement it with additional data. They can find more data about New Orleans on their open data website.
  4. Before 5pm, they must have their dashboards uploaded to Tableau Public.

That’s it! Simple!
