I’m quite messy when building workflows (actually, I’m quite messy generally, but this post is going to be Alteryx-specific). I need a way of organising my tools quickly and neatly.

Fortunately, this is really straightforward. There are two simple keyboard shortcuts for aligning your Alteryx tools.

To align your tools vertically, Ctrl and click on each of the tools you want to align, then hold Ctrl, Shift, +

To align your tools horizontally, Ctrl and click on each of the tools you want to align, then hold Ctrl, Shift, –
