Randee Johnson

Randee is an inquisitive learner with a profound appreciation for diverse perspectives. Currently serving as a Tableau and Alteryx Data Analytics consultant at The Data School New York, Randee's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Haverford College, specializing in theoretical mathematics. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she embarked on a path fueled by her lifelong passion for teaching, culminating in the attainment of her Masters in Mathematics Education from City College New York.

For nearly a decade, Randee dedicated herself to the noble vocation of teaching 7th-grade mathematics, concurrently fostering a sense of community with a steadfast commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. While her devotion to education remains unwavering, her insatiable thirst for knowledge has prompted a transformative career transition. Driven by the desire to further hone her skills and pursue professional growth, Randee now focuses on a new chapter in her journey.

Following the intensive training at the Data School, Randee began her first placement at GoHealth Urgent Care, where she took on a key role as the Tableau Expert and BI Strategy Advisor for their BI Team. During her time there, she has:

  • Revamped five dashboards, transforming them from static, tabular views into dynamic, interactive visualizations that enhance decision-making.

  • Coached BI team members through one-on-one sessions, guiding them to redesign and optimize over a dozen additional dashboards.

  • Led over 18 hours of group enablement sessions, equipping the team with advanced Tableau skills and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

  • Streamlined workflows by initiating new processes that improved team collaboration, enhanced efficiency, and ensured consistent delivery of high-quality insights.

Randee’s contributions have significantly elevated the BI Team’s capabilities, driving a more cohesive and impactful approach to business intelligence at GoHealth Urgent Care.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Randee finds solace in the warmth of summer and a fondness for temperate climates. Her passions encompass a wide array of interests, including travel, music appreciation, fresh fruits, engaging in squash (the racket sport) and biking, immersing herself in the natural outdoors, and cultivating her talents in various arts and crafts, a testament to her perpetual pursuit of personal enrichment.
